Refund Policy
Effective date: 1 June 2026
We want you to feel confident purchasing credits. Here is when and how refunds work.
1. Credit Purchases
Credits are a digital good consumed on use. Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that order. After 14 days, or once any credits from an order have been used, no refund is available.
If a marking job fails (MARKING_FAILED status) you are never charged — credits are returned automatically. This is a system guarantee, not a discretionary refund.
2. Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. You retain access until the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refund is issued for the unused portion of a subscription month.
Annual subscriptions cancelled within the first 14 days of the initial billing period are eligible for a full refund. After 14 days, no refund is available, but you retain access to the end of the annual term.
3. Exceptional Circumstances
If you experience a billing error (charged twice, wrong amount) please contact [email protected] within 30 days. We will investigate and, where an error is confirmed, issue a full refund of the overcharge.
If the Service is unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours due to our infrastructure failure, we will issue a credit equivalent to the pro-rata downtime on a subscription. This is calculated automatically.
4. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence, including any right of withdrawal under distance-selling regulations.
EU and UK consumers who purchase a digital service may have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive / Consumer Contracts Regulations, which may be waived when the service commences immediately at your request. We begin marking upon purchase, so by confirming the SpendConfirm modal you waive this right for that specific marking job.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your account email, the date of purchase, and the reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
